Prepare yourself for goblin-packed mayhem, hat-stealing antics, and the most gloriously absurd 16v16 battles you’ll ever experience. Fat Goblins is an indie revival of chaotic team-based warfare, a modern tribute to the cult classic Fat Princess, painstakingly rebuilt from the ground up by Koda Games.
In Fat Goblins, two teams of sixteen clash across vast, cartoony battlefields, fighting to defend their castle, feed their princess, and kidnap the enemy’s, all while drowning in a flurry of hats, meat, and blood (goblin blood, of course). The result? Utter pandemonium, equal parts strategy and silliness.
A Feast for Fighters
Each goblin can don a variety of hats that grant new abilities, from launching explosive fireballs and healing wounded allies to blasting muskets or swinging oversized swords. Lose your hat mid-fight? No problem. Steal your enemy’s instead and swap class on the fly. Every battle becomes a shifting, unpredictable contest of wits, teamwork, and mischief.
But combat is only part of the fun. Between fights, players can chop trees, mine crystals, and fortify their castle, all to make their princess stronger (and fatter). Feed her meat to make her harder to kidnap, build new defences, and unlock powerful upgrades that can turn the tide of war.

Cartoony, Gory, and Gloriously Ridiculous
While the art style is bright and exaggerated, Fat Goblins isn’t afraid to show a bit of goblin gore. When a goblin takes damage, their cartoony blood splatters the battlefield, fading over time. Players can even customise the colour of goblin blood to something a little more family-friendly.

Built from the Ground Up
Running on a completely custom engine, Fat Goblins has been built to support massive online skirmishes with low latency and dynamic scaling. When the servers are quiet, costs drop to nearly nothing, a clever design that ensures the game’s longevity well into the future.
Koda Games has already hosted public playtests with large-scale online battles and glowing feedback from the community. Fat Goblins isn’t a concept, it’s already playable, polished, and delightfully chaotic.

A True Indie Triumph
Currently preparing for Steam’s October Next Fest (13th–20th October), Fat Goblins has also smashed its Kickstarter target, but are now pushing forward to meet the stretch goals in order to take things even further. These include:
Local-hosted servers for long-term player access,
Additional classes, maps, and game modes,
A rune system for in-game progression,
Enhanced marketing to grow the community.

Chaos, Cooperation, and Community
At its core, Fat Goblins is a fusion of multiplayer madness, a blend of PvP and PvE wrapped in slapstick charm. Its class system encourages genuine teamplay, while the emergent strategies and reactive combat keep every match feeling fresh.
As Koda Games puts it, “It’s pure chaos and cooperation, wrapped in a ridiculous package that keeps the action fresh every round.”
Whether you’re healing allies, hurling bombs, or just feeding your princess another haunch of meat, Fat Goblins promises one thing above all: unforgettable, laughter-filled battles.
Get ready to fatten your princess, steal some hats, and join the chaos this October.
