Our website has finally launched!
Back in 2012, it was always our intention to have a website for our downloadable magazine when it launched, but we never really had the opportunity to make it happen. So it’s now or never!
The support from the Indie Game Development community has always inspired us to create a space where games can be mini showcased and reviewed; and developers and studios interviewed. Across different social media sites we have cultivated groups that have been steadily growing. In these groups people have come together from all different roles within, or associated to the game development process from artists and animators, to the content creators and streamers that help promote indie games. This has been really amazing to see. Within the communities of those groups everyone is encouraged to get involved in promoting developers and their games. This is what has always driven us and now we will be able to do the same but in one purposely developed place.
For us, the three words Indie | Games | Developer have always been equally important. Our aim is to create content that would be useful to those that are just starting out in game development and those that are more advanced in their experience and maintain a list of resources that may be able to help in the process. Moving forward our plan is to continue to build the website and our magazine to include many more features but we anticipate this taking some time to do as we simultaneously juggle our own game projects. Hopefully, as we can bring more people on board, creating content, and expand the team things will move more quickly. All good things take a little while to become established!
Thanks for following us on this journey and we hope to work with you in some capacity, if the opportunity is there to do so. Whilst we cannot help everyone in the industry – we will do our best to expand the team with your help and support, so that we can cover more ground.
